Meditation for Developing Intuition

Intuition is, knowing something without thinking about it beforehand. It is that guiding “inner voice” which always knows the truth and what is best for you, in all situations.

Intuition shows up in many ways, sometimes in dreams, direct knowing, flashes of mental imagery, positive & negative vibes, emotional sensations, coincidences, synchronicities, insights, and gut feelings.

The voice of intuition is very powerful and yet often quite subtle. Intuition comes from a place within you that is beyond the conscious mind, it bubbles up from the subconscious and the unconscious only to be noticed when the distractions of the conscious mind are set aside, or put to rest. It really is a navigation of your very own, uniquely beautiful and eternally deep, inner landscape.

Mediation helps to access that deeper part of YOU- as you dig through the noisy mental state, constant mind chatter, non-stop anxiety, self-interest, bodily tension, emotional ‘stuff’ and material world attachment – into the magnificence of your subconscious mind.

Meditation is the very best tool to access your subconscious, and awaken your super-powerful, yet dormant intuition.

The wisest teacher lives within you and your ability to communicate with your inner teacher is synonymous to your listening to your intuition. In her book The Game of Life and How to Play It, Florence Shovel Shinn refers to prayer as you talking to God, and your intuition as God responding.

True intuition is about tapping into the scientifically proven quantum field within all living beings, including that deep inner field within YOU.
